Prosecutor Announces Investigative Staff Promotions

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of Investigations John Speirs announce three promotions effective today, October 31, 2016, to fill vacant supervisory positions within the Prosecutor’s Office. The vacancies were created by the recent retirement of Lieutenant Charles Brady.

Sergeant Evelyn Tasoulas was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, assigned to the General Investigations Unit of the Courts & Administration Division.

Detective/Supervisor Matthew Potter was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, assigned to the General Investigations Unit of the Courts & Administration Division.

Detective Daniel Haber was promoted to the rank of Detective/ Supervisor, assigned to the Professional Standards Unit of the Specialized Crimes Division.

Prosecutor Knapp stated, “Each individual has demonstrated an unconditional commitment to the goals and objectives of this organization. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to promote those of such high caliber.”
