Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Chief of Investigations Stephen F. Wilson, Jr. announce the hiring and swearing in of four new employees at the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. The new employees will fill three Assistant Prosecutor positions and one Detective position.
The following personnel have been hired and sworn in:
- Assistant Prosecutor Robert Graber will be assigned to the Pre-Trial Services Unit. AP Graber completed his undergraduate studies at The College of New Jersey in June of 2014, and went on to graduate from the Seton Hall University School of Law in May of 2017. Prior to joining the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk with the Honorable Joseph A. Portelli J.S.C., in the Passaic County Superior Court Criminal Division.
- Assistant Prosecutor Matthew Kelly will be assigned to the Juvenile Unit. He graduated from the Seton Hall University School of Law in May of 2017, following his undergraduate studies at St. John’s University. AP Kelly served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Wayne J. Forrest J.S.C., in the Mercer County Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part prior to joining the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
- Assistant Prosecutor Jessica Sparano will be assigned to the Domestic Violence Unit. AP Sparano completed her undergraduate studies at The College of New Jersey in May of 2014, and continued her education at The George Washington University Law School, where she graduated from in May of 2017. She served as a Judicial Law Clerk with the Honorable David F. Bauman J.S.C., the Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division in Monmouth County.
- Detective Ashley Gonzalez will be assigned to the Pre-Trial Services Unit within the Courts and Administration Division. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Penn State University and went on to Monmouth University to complete her Masters of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security. Prior to joining the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, Detective Gonzalez served as a police officer for the Rutgers University Police Department, New Brunswick division, for three years.
Prosecutor Knapp said, “We at the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office are excited to have these four extremely qualified join our ranks. Their past educations and experiences have prepared Assistant Prosecutors Graber, Kelly, and Sparano, and Detective Gonzalez to excel in their new roles. I know that they will serve Morris County with distinction in their future endeavors”.
