Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Lt. Steven Brylinski Completes Command & Leadership Academy

On May 30, 2019, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Lieutenant Steven Brylinski completed the rigorous 14-week Command and Leadership Academy offered by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police. Mount Arlington Township Police Chief Keith Licata served as the lead instructor for the program. The course was held at the Morris County Police Training Academy in Parsippany, New Jersey.

The Command & Leadership Academy was developed in collaboration between the United States Military Academy at West Point and the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police by highly experienced law enforcement professionals. The curriculum focuses on studying leadership as a science through logic, critical thinking, and vision. Candidates utilize police-oriented case studies to connect the organizational theories they have learned in real time scenarios.

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp said, “Lieutenant Brylinski is a key member of our office. He has always been a leader to his peers, and this training further cements his place in our command staff. I know he will continue to serve this office with distinction”.
